Great, the MagPuma, but the saddle is too low, the saddle itself is not for me either, it rides well, I was skeptical because of the small wheels, even without motor support you can ride well, the handling of the folding is also good
Super design, stands out
We purchased two of these folding bikes.
We like the design and the bike looks and feels good. But with my length of 183 the seat is really too low. Is there a longer pin available?
Also it would be nice of the smallest chain wheel would be even smaller, as from 23 km/H you have to turn it really fast.
I received my F11 MagPuma from DHL a few days ago. Unpacking and "final assembly" was super easy. After my first test rides, I am completely satisfied with the bike. Its modern design and the well-designed construction in many details completely meet my expectations.
I can actually agree completely with jr's assessment, from the attachment of the front mudguard (why isn't there an Allen screw there too???) to the length of the seat post. It's too short for me at 183cm and with short legs. When pedaling, my legs remain a little too bent to be able to pedal. The gears could be a little longer, because at full speed the cadence is already quite high. All in all, this is probably more of a bike for shorter distances (especially without a luggage rack) than for longer tours. BTW, using the motor when cornering takes some getting used to. However, it is my first e-bike, so maybe that's just me🤔 In any case, you have to be careful not to get carried out of the corner when the assistance suddenly starts. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it so far - the bike was only delivered yesterday.
My MagPuma arrived yesterday. The delivery was on time. The Puma was quickly unpacked, actually everything was pre-assembled, except for the mudguards. The mudguard for the rear wheel was quickly assembled, especially because the screw had to be loosened with the Allen key. Unfortunately, the mudguard is 2 cm away from the frame, this is due to the fastening. Caution: When screwing it on, make sure that the fastening does not slip over the slot for the battery.
The battery does not slide out easily into the slot, but with skill and pressure it can be done.
Mounting the front mudguard was a challenge though. The Phillips :-) screw was so tight that I couldn't even try to turn it round and had to buy a new one with a couple of washers today. Now everything is in place.
This morning at 6:00 a.m. the battery had completed its first 12-hour charge, so we were ready to go.
The seating position takes some getting used to. I'm 180 cm tall and would like a longer seat post. You also sit very directly above the bottom bracket, very far forward.
I got used to the seating position and on my first ride I was able to enjoy not only the stylish look, but also the fast motor support. It kicks in with a slight delay but is powerful. You have to pay attention to this if you want to take advantage of the maneuverability of this small vehicle: turn the handlebars sharply, accelerate gently and you'll get a powerful swing. So in future, switch off the motor.
Oh, by the way, the gearshift has 6 gears, there are contradictory information about this above.
Conclusion: The Puma looks great. I will get used to the seating position, as I want to use it on train journeys for short city trips.
