The aluminum frame of the E-MTB R8 Flex III is made of the same material that is used in the aviation industry. The frame is the ultimate combination of strength and lightness and houses the battery in an intelligent way. The sporty design of the frame makes you and your bike a dynamic eye-catcher!

Simply flexible
The R8's clever, removable battery can easily be stored in your regular backpack.
Now it's up to you where you want to charge the battery: at a charging station? Or while you're dreamily enjoying a coffee in a bistro?

Good gear shifting and braking
Shimano supplies the bike with a 9-speed derailleur , which ensures smooth gear changes. With only one chainring at the front and nine sprockets at the rear, the gear gradation of this gear system is more even. It makes it easier to select the optimal gear for different situations and enables precise shifting. The hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear develop enormous power and bring you to a safe stop, even in wet conditions. The KENDA MTB tires keep you well on track with exceptional grip

To get the right boost for the R8, we at SachsenRAD rely on Bafang , one of the leading manufacturers of components and complete e-drive systems for electromobility. The e-racing bike's motor is perfectly integrated and powerful. Its harmonious, smooth handling is its outstanding feature.

Lasts extra long
Compared to the previous model , the battery has been enlarged to 14,500 mAh or 522 Wh, meaning it lasts extra long and supports you on particularly long tours – this endurance miracle can do up to 150 km !
So the R8 Flex III will carry you home safely even if you're a little tired after an extra portion of cycling.

Chic and rough
The choice is yours: With or without mudguards? We supply free mudguards for the front and rear (with integrated rear light) so that you can design your Flex III the way you want: chic for the city or more rough for off-road.
