The C5 Centro shows its strengths on difficult paths thanks to the hydraulic disc brakes , wide tires and, above all, the specially developed, powerful mid-engine. Mud, puddles, gravel, roots or sand are no longer a problem. The frame is more robust than on conventional city bikes and helps you to control the bike when riding over hill and dale. The same applies to the mid-engine: the motor position gives you a more familiar riding experience because the drive power is generated exactly where you are used to when you pedal. The stable and off-road suspension fork can be adjusted to the hardness you prefer.

Everything for the city

Back in civilization, the C5 SUV e-bike proves itself to be a city bike with style. A sturdy luggage rack for heavy saddlebags, LED front and rear lights, and mudguards make you ready for the asphalt. And when you come across neglected bike paths, cobblestones, and tram tracks on the road, you'll really appreciate the off-road capabilities of your SachsenRAD SUV.

Another highlight is the Gates Carbon belt drive . It ensures ultra-smooth cycling, is extremely low-maintenance and reliable. Enjoy up to 30,000km of worry-free riding: no chain oil to dirty your fancy trousers, no warping and readjustment of a drive chain.

Power thanks to XCruise V7 mid-engine

The C5 is powered by our newly designed XCruise V7 mid-engine. It delivers an astonishing 70NM torque and thanks to its specially developed torque sensor, it registers exactly the force you use to pedal - and adjusts the support accordingly. For example, if you are riding up a hill and are using more muscle power, the motor will release more support for you. This makes it easier to get up steep terrain and you won't sweat as quickly. This technology also saves up to 30% battery capacity and the pedal support is much smoother and more pleasant.

To ensure you are always informed about all aspects of your current journey, the C5R Centro is equipped with a robust (IP65) 2 inch HD control display . The full-color screen is made of tempered glass with a beveled edge and has independent control buttons in an ergonomic design. The display shines with its high brightness and wide viewing angle (IPS LCD). Special screen adaptation technology ensures excellent readability even in sunlight and outdoors.

One for all

Instead of having to make room for a mountain bike, a city bike and a training bike in the garage or storage room, the C5R Centro SUV e-bike combines all of their advantages in one well-designed bike. With a range of up to 130km in ECO mode (depending on riding style, weight and terrain), you can commute to work without breaking a sweat, even on longer and more difficult routes. And at the weekend, SachsenRAD invites you to an extended bike tour and a wild ride through nature. The C5 Centro is a real all-rounder!
